Private Singing Lessons
A Private One-on-One Singing Lesson is an opportunity for you or your young creator to have tailored, specialised and focussed attention on your own vocal development. In the privacy of our music studios, you are free to safely and boldly explore all the sounds your voice can make or the sounds that don’t come freely or naturally…yet! All voices can be trained!
Our experienced coaches, are not only nurturing, inspiring and brilliant teachers who can lead you through your own vocal journey, they are stunning singers in their own right who I have had the privilege of training and mentoring for many years.
Our teachers will happily work with beginner voices through to experienced singers Aged 8 years to Adult.
Music Theatre is a key focus of Lisa-Marie Parker Vocal Studio however under the Music Theatre banner all Contemporary Vocal Styles can and are regularly explored Including Pop, Rock, Folk, Jazz, Rap, Country.
All lessons will take the singer through a series of vocal exercises, scales, vocalises and pieces to help build the safe and versatile vocal technique of the singer leading through the vocal style they are working towards.
Key focus areas include:
Building a Healthy and sustainable Vocal tone and range.
Increasing stamina
Exploring and centering Breath
Developing Music Skills
Understanding style and exploring various Vocal Qualities including Belt!
Song interpretation both musically and dramatically.
Building repertoire.
Our teachers can support you towards any goal you set, which may include AMEB Music Theatre or Singing for Leisure Syllabus, Scholarships, Eisteddfods, VCE Music, VCASS and Tertiary Entrance and other Auditions, Performances and Singing just for fun!
Lessons are offered in 30 mins ($45), 45 mins ($60) or 60 mins ($80) bookings (plus GST) on Wednesday and Thursday evenings, Saturday and Sunday Mornings.
Paid Trial Lessons are available.
The Singing Soiree, held twice yearly, is a highlight of our program, giving each singer an optional performance opportunity in a safe and warm environment with a like-minded community.
