Enrolment: · Enrolments will be processed in order of application. Returning students will be given priority over new enrolments, provided re-enrolment is confirmed by December 18, 2024. 2. Lesson Dates/Terms: · Private Lessons run in accordance with Victorian School Terms and are booked and paid per term. · Holiday lessons are available upon request for specific performance preparations, subject to teacher availability and will be charged as an individual booking at the current term rate. · Paid Trial Lessons are welcomed and encouraged to have an opportunity for the student to meet the teacher and discuss goals. 3. Payment Deadlines/Rates: · Payment, received by either credit or debit card, and the enrolment form to be completed prior to securing placement. · Payment is due before the first lesson to confirm placement. Payments not received by the third week will incur a $20 late fee, which will be applied automatically. A reminder email will be sent to all clients who miss the payment deadline. · 2025 Fees Breakdown: 30 minute Lessons: $49 plus GST 45 minute Lessons: $64 plus GST 60 minute Lessons: $84 plus GST 4. Lateness/Missed Lessons: · For absences or make-up lesson requests, please email kidsdivision@lisamarieparkervocalstudio.com.au or info@lisamarieparkervocalstudio.com.au in advance. · If you are running late for a lesson, please email or SMS 0418 999 759. · Only one make-up lesson is permitted per term, with or without a medical certificate. · Cancellations within 24 hours will forfeit the full fee, unless a medical certificate is emailed to qualify for a make-up lesson. · Make-up lesson requests (when notice is given more than 24 hours in advance) must be made in writing before the missed lesson and emailed directly to your teacher. These lessons must be completed before the start of the next term. · Missed classes cannot be refunded or transferred to another term. · If the teacher needs to cancel or reschedule a lesson, they will contact you directly to arrange a replacement lesson within reasonable availability. · If you anticipate being away during the term, notify us via email before invoicing to avoid charges for missed lessons. Otherwise, only one make-up lesson will be permitted for the term. 5. Enrolment Cancellation/ Refund Policy: · Term fees are non-refundable. · Should you choose not to re-enrol, please notify the studio in writing 2 weeks prior to beginning of next term or lessons missed with be charged. E: kidsdivision@lisamarieparkervocalstudio.com.au · Refunds for exceptional circumstances (eg. prolonged illnesses or relocation) may be issued upon presentation of relevant documentation such as a medical certificate or proof of relocation. · Should students require cancellation of their enrolment outside of 7 days prior to commencing term, a full refund will be granted if pre-payment has been made. 7. Studio Health and Illness Policy (Including COVID-19 and Flu) A. Face-to-Face and Online Lessons · Lessons are primarily conducted in our studio in Flemington. · Online lessons are always available as an alternative, including for last-minute illness or other necessities, to avoid forfeiting the lesson. B. Health Precautions · Do not attend the studio if you have COVID-19, flu-like symptoms, or feel unwell. · If symptoms arise within 24 hours of your lesson, you may switch to an online lesson at your scheduled time to avoid cancellation fees. C. COVID-Specific Guidelines · If you have tested positive for COVID-19, you may return to the studio seven days after your positive result, provided you are symptom-free and have tested negative. · If you live with someone who has COVID-19, we recommend waiting five days and ensuring you test negative before attending the studio. D. Lockdowns and Restrictions · In the event of state-imposed lockdowns or restrictions, lessons will automatically transition to an online format. Refunds are not available under these circumstances. E. Flu-Like Illnesses · Students with mild flu-like symptoms but otherwise feeling well are encouraged to switch to online lessons for everyone’s safety. 8. Arrival Procedure: · Parents are responsible for ensuring their child arrives safely. Please ensure that your child is safely accompanied into the waiting area, especially if they are younger, and that they are picked up promptly after the lesson. · To create the most effective learning environment, we kindly ask parents to wait in the waiting area for the duration of the private lesson. This approach helps students focus fully, build independence, and develop their confidence without distractions. Thank you for your understanding and support in fostering your child’s growth. · Please remain quiet in the waiting area as the foyer is not an enclosed space. 9. Materials: · The majority of music for lessons will be provided by the teacher. · Students are responsible for purchasing additional materials, including sheet music they select, specific music books required for training and exams, backing tracks, AMEB registration fees, etc. 10. Communication/Privacy: · Lisa-Marie Parker Vocal Studio may contact you with studio updates, upcoming workshop opportunities and other essential information via email as well as your teacher communicating directly with sheet music, backings etc. · Please note your information is secure and will not be shared or sold to a third party. Your privacy is respected. · Lessons are booked and organised within the Studio’s Online Scheduling system Acuity. You will receive weekly reminders of your lesson time. · You may opt out of marketing emails or promotional material by contacting us directly via email. · It is the Parent/Guardian’s responsibility to inform Lisa-Marie Parker Vocal Studio of any changes to details previously stated on the Enrolment form (ie. contact details, emergency contact, relevant Medical information.) Declaration: The following section outlines the studio's liability and emergency protocols for parents' awareness. • I understand and accept Lisa-Marie Parker Vocal Studio accepts no liability for personal injury sustained, property damage, or loss that arises from participation in any activity connected with Lisa-Marie Parker Vocal Studio. • In case of an emergency, I authorise staff of Lisa-Marie Parker Vocal Studio to seek and consent, where it is impracticable to communicate with me, to whatever medical or surgical treatment to my child, including ambulance, as may be deemed necessary and be liable for any medical expenses incurred. • I agree that I am responsible for ensuring that my child/children are physically and medically fit for the class and all information or instruction for the safe management of the student required by the teacher will included on the registration form. • I understand that teachers are chosen at the discretion of Lisa-Marie Parker Vocal Studio and may change as required.
