What is Kids Division? 

Kids Division is a boutique Performing Arts Studio in North Melbourne.

Age based Group Classes, Sing Club! Group Singing 8-12yrs, Drama 5-7yrs and 8-12yrs, SAM: Sing Act Move- Music Theatre! Music Theatre 6-8.5yrs and 8.5-12 years, Yoga and Mindfulness are offered. For those who want to explore their singing voice in a one-on-one setting, Private Singing Lessons are also available and a terrific way to nuture the individual vocal journey of the student.

Group Classes offered in 2022 are for children Aged 5-12 years, with Private Singing Lessons Aged 8-18 years.

While great care and planning goes into class content to enable each student’s solid and safe technical growth, classes are primarily fun focussed and tailored around the individuals within each class. Class sizes are capped to help nurture the individual needs of the students and encourage freedom of creative exploration and self-expression in a safe environment, building confidence and collaborating with others to build to a group outcome within their own creative community. There is no pressure to achieve or succeed. Children are not auditioned. Beginners welcomed!

While there will be open sessions at the end of each term to show parents what they have been up to, Kids Division is not result focussed. Encouraging children to approach all activities and challenges with a Growth Mindset is at the heart of our program.

Kids Division is ever evolving. Where there is interest, more age groups and class focusses with be added. If there is something your child wishes they could learn in a group or privately, approach us, we are open to creating more content where we are able.
